Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection of a substance that promotes the growth of normal cells, tissues or organs.

Prolotherapy involves a short series of injections containing DEXTROSE into weakened ligaments, tendons, and structural tissues. . The hypertonic dextrose causes mild irritation and begins the healing cascade. The body reacts by constructing new tissue growth at the site of the injections. This non-surgical, non-drug treatment mobilizes the body's very own natural healing agents, a response that strengthens and stabilizes damaged or weakened tissues and joints, resulting in amazing relief - usually permanent.

The number of injections to obtain relief varies considerably from patient to patient and injury to injury. For healthy patients, one injection can often relieve their pain totally, but usually, a series of three to four treatments are sufficient. Treatments are performed every four to six weeks.

Very frequently, back pain occurs as a result of injury or degeneration of the ligaments in the back, which can cause debilitating local pain as well as sciatic pain in the legs and other lower extremity discomfort. Prolotherapy for these patients produced an 80 percent cure rate.

Perineural Injection Therapy

developed by New Zealander Dr. John Lyftogt. It is a safe and effective treatment for neuropathic pain conditions.

Nerves are the structures that communicate to our brain that we have pain. Nonhealing sensory nerves are the cause of pain, inflammation, and delay in healing.

The treatment consists of injections at the entrapment sites or under the skin targeting painful and sensitive nerves with simple and natural substances that produce instant relief of pain. The substances used are Glucose or Glycerol (polyol-sugar) in a low concentration which acts as nutritive or energy for the injured nerves. The procedure can be ultrasound-guided so we can be very precise with our target tissues.

Every treatment aims to extinguish the pain. Repeated treatments will steadily reduce the overall pain and allow the return of full function.

The average number of treatments required for most conditions is 2-6 and success rates vary between 80-100% depending on the condition.

The treatment is safe, simple, and very effective.
