Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cells, with their remarkable potential to transform into various types of body tissues, hold a key to unlocking our body's natural healing capabilities. What makes them truly extraordinary is their innate ability to discern and respond to the specific needs of our body. Whether it's meniscus cells, cartilage cells, or nerve cells, stem cells possess an innate intelligence to rejuvenate and regenerate targeted areas affected by disease.

In the realm of Stem Cell Therapy, we harness the power of a person's own healing cells derived from fat, bone marrow, and blood—either independently or in strategic combinations. These cells are then precisely injected into areas experiencing cellular deficiencies, forming a personalized approach to healing.

The primary objective is to ignite the repair process within injured tissues. Stem cells play a crucial role in fostering fibroblastic proliferation, encompassing cell growth, proteosynthesis, tissue repair, and chondrocyte proliferation.

Found within our fat cells and bone marrow, stem cells, also known as mesenchymal stem cells and progenitor cells, possess the extraordinary capability to evolve into diverse tissues such as cartilage, bone, and ligaments.

Once introduced through injection, stem cells respond to signals from specific cells and chemicals in your body, directing them to areas in need. This targeted response ensures that inflamed and degenerated areas receive a concentrated influx of stem cells, promoting a natural and personalized regenerative process.

“Regenerative medicine (stem cell therapy) offers the exciting potential of developing alternatives to total joint replacement for treating osteoarthritis.”

Stem Cell Therapy is shown to reverse joint disease in selected patients.

The goal of Stem Cell Therapy

Our ultimate goal with all forms of Regenerative Treatments is to get the patients back to doing the things that they want to do without pain. It is our hope that the Stem Cell Therapy treatments will form functionally, structurally, and mechanically equal to, if not better than, living tissue which has been designed to replace (or work alongside) damaged tissue.

Majority of our patients who receive Stem Cell Therapy along with traditional Hackett-Hemwall Prolotherapy get back to activities and have dramatically decreased pain levels using this comprehensive approach.

Stem Cell Procedure

  • Using a liposuction procedure, 100-200cc of adipose tissue is harvested from the patient. Bone marrow is obtained through the posterior iliac crest.

  • Using advanced protocols, the Adult Stem Cells (ASCs) are then isolated from the stromal vascular fraction using advanced multi-filtration protocols.

  • The isolated adult stem cells are added to the person’s own platelet-rich plasma(PRP).
